Cross-Border e-Commerce to China @ e-Trade Summit Antwerp

In the past years cross-border e-commerce has exploded in China. The Chinese consumer wants western products, especially in certain product categories and prefers to buy them from abroad. China’s leading internet companies like JD.com and Alibaba have set up special channels to facilitate this consumer need. Recently Alibaba even opened offices in Belgium and The Netherlands to help Benelux brands to sell online in China.

On the 27th of September ChinaTalk’s Ed Sander and MyChinaWeb’s Bart Horsten will be presenting about this topic at the annual e-Trade Summit, Belgium’s leading e-commerce event, to be held at Dock3 in Antwerpen. In their duo-presentation Ed Sander will explain why cross-border commerce is booming in China and what the latest trends are. Bart Horsten will talk about the strategical options and practical considerations which western companies will have to make when selling online in China.
