On the 31st of October ChinaTalk’s Ed Sander delivered a guest lecture for The Hague University of Applied Sciences in which he used the business case of WeChat to show students how in recent years China has become a leader in digital and mobile innovation. We are very happy to finally be able to share a full English version of this popular lecture with you (an earlier Dutch version has been avaiable before).
Ed describes the three stages of development of WeChat (chat app, social network and m-commerce platform), explains why China has become a digital innovator and what it means for western countries and companies.
Special thanks to the university’s Collegeweb team for making this video footage available.
