At the end of June 2023, Jessica Sun and Ed Sander of ChinaTalk finally returned to China.
Besides visiting family and friends for the first time in 4 years, their main purpose for visiting the country was to do location scouting for the upcoming ChinaTechTrip study tours.
Ed and Jessica visited Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing and Xi’an. On LinkedIn, Ed shared his observations on returning to the country after such a long time. What changed? What remained the same? And what has happened to various New Retail concepts in the past four years?
